My kids have been bugging me for two years to go here and it’s because they have over 17 “thrill rides” including 10 serious roller coasters, one of those free-fall rides (gulp), a super-high swing ride and a virtual reality Superman coaster. I’m sweating just typing this description. Who wants to take my kids for me? There are plenty of other family-friendly rides and a huge water park, as well. If you purchase your tickets in advance online, you can save nearly 30%.

Remember when Attitash only had the Alpine Slides? They have that and lots more now including the Mountain Coaster, waterslides, Buddy Bear Play-Pool, mountain biking, Airbag Jump, Slack-lines, Euro-Bungy Trampoline, climbing wall and the scenic chairlift ride. Phew! The alpine slides, which are worth the trek alone, are only $15 but you can do combo passes for all of the above for $49 adult, $25 for kids under 48” (even less if you go from 3pm-6pm) Prices and hours vary due to Covid19. So much fun to be had!

SkyVenture completely immerses visitors in the world of high adventure skydiving, without ever having to pack a parachute, pull a ripcord, or jump out of a perfectly good airplane– and yet, anyone over the age of 3 years old can go. There is no falling sensation, you just float above the trampoline floor. In recent years, they’ve also added an indoor surfing simulator, a rock climbing wall and a fishpipe waterslide. This outing is super pricey at $90-100 per person but definitely memories to last a lifetime!

The adventure challenge course has over 65 activities and elements including multi-vines, cat walks, burma bridges, tube nets, swinging tires and swinging platforms. Adventure Zip Tour consists of traveling through Maine’s beautiful woods on six zip wires connected to trees and utility poles where you zip from platform to platform. Great for all ages and abilities. Zip Line Tours require reservations, please call ahead.
