Kittery, ME
Memorial Day Ceremony 
When: 10:00am
Location: the Kittery/Eliot VFW Post 9394 will be hosting a ceremony in observance of Memorial Day at the Orchard Grove Cemetery, on Saturday, May 23rd beginning at 10:00 a.m. The ceremony will feature local speakers.

Seabrook, NH
Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony
When: 9:00am
Parade Route: Ceremony and parade will be held Sunday, May 24. There will be a ceremony at Town Hall before the parade begins. Events begin at 9 a.m. at the Smithtown Monument in front of Trinity Church, presented by Seabrook’s American Legion Post 70

Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony
When: 9:00am
The Parade kicks off at Sandown Road Bridge with a tribute and proceeds down Main Street to the collect all of your youth marchers at Spaulding Road. Children, bicycles, Scouts, sports teams, etc should all park at the Spaulding Road lot and join the parade at Spaulding Road and Main Street. The Parade then proceeds to Village Cemetery, where the ceremony will take place.

Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

When: 10:00am
Parade Route: parade begins at Swasey Parkway, continues up Water Street, and along Front Street to Gale Park, with guest speakers and a flag ceremony.

Kingston, NH
Memorial Day Rolling Parade and Ceremony

When: 1:00pm
Parade Route: begins at Town Hall with parade vehicles lined up on Main Street in front of the town hall, and marchers forming in the Town Hall Parking lot. At the command of the Grand Marshall, the parade will begin and proceed up Church Street, left on North Road to the entrance of Greenwood Cemetery where the formal Memorial Day observance will commence. The Kingston Veteran’s Memorial watches over the Greenwood Cemetery and is located just behind the Kingston Veteran’s Club.

Parade Route: please join us on Monday May 25th for our parade and ceremony. We will be leaving Hoague-Batchelder American Legion Post 103 at 9am and heading directly to Meeting house Hill cemetery.

Memorial Day Ceremony
When: 10:00am
Location: members of the community are invited to join us for a remembrance ceremony at Memorial Park on Main Street to pay tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving and protecting our country. Please join us on Memorial Day to honor and remember. The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. downtown on Main Street with special guest speakers, musical tributes, laying of the wreath at Memorial Park and more.

Memorial Day Ceremony with Dover Woodman’s Museum
When: 11:00am
Location: A Memorial Day ceremony will be held on Monday, May 25, 2026, beginning at 11 a.m. at Pine Hill Cemetery and hosted by Dover’s Woodman Museum and the American Legion, Post 8, Dover.

The event will begin with a ceremony to honor Dover’s fallen soldiers. The event will include opening remarks by Woodman Museum Executive Director Jonathan Nichols, a Memorial Day address by Dover Mayor Dennis Shanahan, remarks by American Legion Commander Wayne Gower, a wreath-laying ceremony, presentation of colors by the Dover High School NJROTC, the playing of Taps by Dover High School students Sofia Gonzalez Ramirez and Michael Ranti, and the national anthem, performed by Dover High School student Luna Hubbard.

The ceremony will be held at Veterans Circle, which can be accessed from the East Watson Street entrance to New Pine Hill Cemetery.

Location: The City hosts a brief ceremony at South Cemetery on South Street. In the event of rain, this ceremony will be held in City Hall Council Chambers (1 Junkins Avenue). Any changes will be announced on the City website and via social media.

Rochester, NH
Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony
When: 10:30am
Location: The Rochester Veterans Council will host a Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 25, 2026. The parade will step off from Holy Rosary Church on North Main Street at 10:30 a.m. sharp, designated with a cannon shot.

The parade will proceed to the Arched Bridge over the Cocheco River, where there will be a brief stoppage to conduct a Wreath Memorial Service. Taps will be performed by the Spaulding High School Band, and a rifle volley will be conducted by Captain Bell’s Company, 2nd NH Regiment, Revolutionary War reenactors. Once the ceremony is complete, the parade will continue down North Main Street through downtown, onto South Main Street, and conclude at the Rochester Common in time for ceremonies at the Flags of Honor.

The Rochester Veterans Council has chosen local legend Robert “Cider” Berry as the Grand Marshal for the 2026 Rochester Memorial Day Parade. Berry is a Navy veteran who has been actively involved in the community for many years through various boards and community groups. He has received awards such as the Rochester Sports Hall of Fame Chairman’s Award and was named Rochester Citizen of the Year in 2005. He currently serves as the Community Relations Director at Eastern Propane and continues to support the veteran community. The Council is honored to have him participate in this important event.

Memorial Day Ceremonies
& Parade

When: 11:00am – 12:00pm
Locations: Forest Glade Cemetery (9:15am), Greek Orthodox Cemetery (9:30am), Mt. Calvary Cemetery (9:45am), Holy Trinity Cemetery (10:15am), and Tri-City Christian Cemetery (10250am). The parade will step off from the American Legion parking lot at 11:30am.

Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony
When: 1:30pm
Location: Ceremony at Veterans Memorial Garden at Stratham Hill Park.
At 1:30 p.m., the Stratham Memorial Day Parade will march from Jack Rabbit Lane, east onto Portsmouth Avenue to Stratham Hill Park. At 1:45 p.m. there will be a Memorial Day Program that will begin at the Veterans Memorial Garden at Stratham Hill Park.

Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

Salisbury’s Memorial Day parade steps off from the fire station parking lot at 10 a.m. The parade will journey south on Route 1 to Beach Road, then to Ferry Road and up Pleasant Street, ending at Salisbury Square. A brief Memorial Day ceremony will take place on Salisbury Green at the conclusion of the parade.

Memorial Day Parade (cancelled) and Ceremony

Parade Route: Due to expected rainy weather conditions, the Memorial Day Parade has been cancelled.

The Memorial Day Service will still take place and has been moved to the South Berwick Community Center (71 Norton Street), where it will begin at 11:30 AM. We thank VFW Post 5744 for continuing this meaningful observance and invite community members to join in honoring our fallen service members.

Parade Route: on Shore Road at Bourne Lane, goes up Shore Road to Beach Street and ends at Veteran’s Park. A ceremony will be held after the parade.

Wells, ME
Memorial Day Parade
When: 9:00am - 10:30am
Parade Route: The parade will step off from Wells High School and proceed down Sanford Road to Ocean View Cemetery, where a brief ceremony will take place honoring those who gave their lives in service to our country. This year’s ceremony will include recognition of brothers Elbridge and Leroy Hanson of Company I, 3rd Battalion, 39th Regiment, 4th Division, who were killed in action during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive in France in October 1918.

Participants in this year’s observance include the Committee for Veterans Affairs, Atlantic Harmonies Youth Choir, Rev. David Hughes of Wells Congregational Church, the Wells-Ogunquit Community School District Music Departments, Wells EMS, Wells Police Department, Wells Fire Department, Civil Air Patrol Maine Wing, and local Veterans.
