FREE Jackson Village Park Snow Sculpting Competition 1/24 – 1/26!

The Snow Sculpting Competition is back at Jackson Village Park this year with at least 12 teams sculpting nature’s snow into the most exciting forms! This event attracts a wide variety of sculptors, both amateur and professional.

Each team sculpts a cylinder shaped block of snow 4 feet in diameter by 8 feet tall to create their snow sculptures. Teams start sculpting at noon on Friday, January 24 and continue working through Saturday to complete their sculptures in time for the judging on Sunday at noon January 26. Judging is based on creativity, technique and message.

There will be a fire pit for roasting of marshmallows, a torch light parade created by our Jackson Ski Touring Foundation Members, scavenger hunts for the kids, a fabulous Silent Auction, and more planned throughout the event. The admission for viewing is free. We invite the public to attend the welcome dinner on Saturday evening and the awards banquet on Sunday afternoon for details and updates please check back often.

Feel free to call the Chamber office at 603-383-9356 for any help in making reservations for this and all our events.
