Preschool Program at Relief Parenting
Introducing the all NEW play-based educational 10-week preschool drop-off afternoon program that will focus on your practicing independence, social skills, emotional regulation, and having FUN! This program is designed for children who have yet to enter Kindergarten and are between the ages of 2 years 9 months to 5 years 11 months.
If you’ve already been visiting Relief Parenting with your child perhaps they are already familiar and will be very comfortable attending.

September 11th through November 17th
Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays afternoons | 1:00 – 4:00pm
Ages: 2.9-5 years
Location: Drop-off Preschool Program at Relief Parenting Center in Hampton, NH
About the Afternoon
The afternoon will consist of a carefully curated environment that fosters developmentally appropriate learning through play. Different areas set up in the classroom will encourage children to develop:
Cooperation- Social skills
- Emotional regulation and cues
- Problem solving
- Sensory exploration
- Fine motor skills
- Hand eye coordination
- Scientific exploration
- Experimentation
- Imaginative thinking
Along with the social and emotional aspect, Preschool at Relief will focus on:
- Expanding vocabulary
- Identification of letters, numbers, shapes, and colors
- Recognizing their own name
- Emergent writing skills
- Exposure to outdoor environments
Please note: Preschool at Relief Parenting is a licensed exempt program.
Payment Options
Pay your tuition on a weekly plan or in-full for each session.
Tuition Fee: $2000 Enrollment to this program is for the duration of the session as a whole. (Pay in Full by August 15th for a tuition fee of $1750. Save $250); Or choose a weekly payment plan of $200 for 10 weeks.

Meet the Teachers
Hello Families! My name is Samantha Lawrence, but you will hear the children call me Miss Sam.
I have my Associates in Early Childhood Education and plan to go back to school to obtain my Bachelors. My philosophy of teaching is that children learn through play in a carefully thought out environment. I also am very passionate that our children need outdoor play as much as possible.
A little about me personally: I have a daughter and a husband and we share a home in my home town of Kensington. We have two dogs and plans for chickens. We spend lots of time four wheeling, hiking, playing pickleball, and just enjoying the outdoors in any way we can.
FAQs
What will a day at Preschool be like for my child?
Each day will follow this typical routine:
- 1:00pm: Drop off, sign in, free play
- 1:20pm: Circle – Hello, weather/calendar, daily theme discussion, storytime
- 1:45pm: Free Play – Dramatic play, manipulatives, blocks, art/crafts
- 2:30pm: Snack
- 2:50pm: Outdoor time!
- 3:50pm: Pick up, sign out
Will I need to complete detailed enrollment forms?
Yes – once you register your child through MindBody and pay your tuition deposit or in-full, an automatic email will be sent to you with a password protected link for submitting enrollment forms.
Forms include: Preschool Policies, Permissions & Waivers, About Your Child & Emergency Contacts & Approved Pick-up Adults.
Does my child need to be fully potty trained?
It is expected that your child is out of diapers and comfortable using the toilet without parental assistance.
Our teachers will remind, offer frequent toilet breaks, and assist with toileting if needed and with your permission (included in enrollment forms).
Please bring an extra change of clothing should an occasional toileting accident occur.
Where will my child play outside?
Batchelder’s Pond and the Hampton Town Walking Trail is directly across the street from Relief Parenting (0.1 miles).
Teachers may bring the class across the street for pond/animal/nature observation, outdoor exploration, and trail walking.
Additionally, the fenced-in outdoor area behind Relief Parenting will be available for play this summer (exact date TBD – stay tuned)!
When are Preschool Sessions held throughout the year?
Fall Session: September – November
Winter Session: December – February
Spring Session: March – May
Summer Session: June – August
Will currently registered children have first access to enroll in future preschool sessions?
Yes! We hope your child will continue practicing their independence, their learning, and their social development by enrolling into the next session of Preschool at Relief Parenting.
If enrollment lapses (family chooses not to enroll in the next session), early access enrollment will be revoked. Re-enrollment will be made available to the family with the general public.
