Not-so-Spooky Spectacular at The Children’s Museum of NH! Saturday Oct. 21st.

Join us for a Halloween celebration that is about fun…not fright! Crafts, games, science exploration, and more!

During the afternoon session only, enjoy a special all ages Halloween themed performance by Mr. Aaron at 2pm! Known all over New England and YouTube for his upbeat music and mult-instrumentalism, Mr. Aaron will have the crowd dancing and singing along–kids and grownups alike!

Join us for a Halloween event that focuses on fun – not fright! We’ll be celebrating throughout the day with all kinds of special activities, all free with regular museum admission. Kids and adults are encouraged to come in costume to explore our exhibits. Check out some fantastical science experiments, create take-home crafts, pose for pictures with fun props in front of a full moon backdrop, and try out our pumpkin scavenger hunt to receive an extra special prize at the end of your visit! Please note that we do not hand out any candy for this event. Want to join in the Not-so-spooky fun? Simply reserve spots in the museum’s morning or afternoon play session on Saturday, October 21 – it’s included with museum admission, and as always, free for Members!

Mr. Aaron Concert during Not-So-Spooky Spectacular

Visit the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire during its Not-So-Spooky Spectacular afternoon session on Saturday, October 21 from 1-4pm for a 2pm special Halloween concert with Mr. Aaron! We’ll get silly with some Halloween classics and a few Mr. Aaron originals, complete with costumes and a spooky dance party (ever seen a skeleton dance? Or a witch? Or a bat? You will!) Recently awarded “Best Children’s Performer” from New Hampshire Magazine, Mr. Aaron never fails to delight audiences of all ages. Kids and grown-ups alike dance and laugh along to hits from his latest release, “Get Aquatic!”, pop favorites, kids classics, and much more! The concert is included with museum admission, and as always free for Museum Members. This special concert is part of CMNH’s Performance Series, sponsored by The Fuller Foundation, TD Charitable Foundation, Abbie F. Moseley Charitable Trust, and the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts. Reserve your spots online at www.childrens-msueum.org.

All the Not-So-Spooky fun is included with regular Museum admission and free for members. Be sure to sign up in advance for a spot during either the morning or afternoon play session on Saturday October 21st–this event is always a popular one!


Museum Members Get More!
Starting Monday, October 2, 9-11am, Children’s Museum of NH Members are invited to play during special Member Only Monday play sessions! It is the FIRST Monday of the month, is exclusive to CMNH Members, and is totally free but spots must be reserved in advance. CMNH Members also get to enjoy two different reciprocity programs in October. Through October 22, Children’s Museum of NH Members (up to 4 individuals) can visit the NH Farm Museum in Milton, NH for free. And the entire month of October, CMNH Members (up to 4 individuals) can enjoy free admission into the Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum in Warner, NH. Fall Museum Hours: Closed Mondays. Open Wednesdays – Saturdays, 9am-Noon or 1-4pm; Tuesdays & Sundays 9am-Noon. Before visiting, the Museum is asking guests to reserve and pre-pay online to help stick to their capacity limit, which is currently at 50% of its actual capacity, or 250 individuals.
