Musical Arts of Dover offers fun summer camps filled with dance, singing, crafts, games, music and more for ages 3 and up!
At Musical Arts of Dover students build skills that will last a lifetime – as a career or hobby. We support students of all ages with professional training for the performing arts offering classes in music, dance, acting, public speaking, musical theater and fitness.

Exploration Variety of Arts / Ages 6-13
This exciting and engaging day camp includes various music lessons, art projects, dance classes including intro to ballet, lyrical, jazz, improv, hip-hop, and acting classes and games. Campers have the opportunity to showcase their skills at the end of the week!

Story Ballet Camp / Ages 7-11
Discover the wonder of ballet! In this beginner ballet camp, you’ll have the chance to build your ballet technique, participate in story ballet themed crafts and activities and learn more about the ballet classics! Each day will have a different story ballet theme. Intro to lyrical and jazz dance included in this exciting dance week! Best fit for ages ages 7-11 This camp is led by Teacher Savannah!

Aerial and Art / Ages 8-15
Daily Aerial silks instruction and a variety of Art projects! Learn routines and moves on the silks, build strength, flexibility, and confidence! Rotate to work on art projects, including painting, jewelry making, tie dye, and more! Levels on silks/ Lyra and art projects are customized to students’ requests!

Dance Variety / Ages 8-16
Multiple dance styles camp! For the dancer who wants to explore technique, floor work, and choreography in a variety of styles! This camp also recommended for the music theater student who wants to improve movement for the stage, acting, and more! Classes in Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet, Improv, Choreography, Aerial silks, Hip Hop, Acting for Dancers, and more! Camp also includes art projects!

Rock Band / Ages 9-15
Learn how to play your instrument in a group/band setting, collaborating with band mates to cover a song, write your own music, and play a show at the end of the camp. This camp is designed for both students who are new to a band setting and those seeking challenging opportunities. Open to drum, bass, guitar, keyboard, and voice students. Voice students encouraged to bring another accompanying instrument. Teachers available for one private lesson during camp in guitar, drums, keyboard, or voice.

Intermediate/Advanced Ballet Intensive / Ages 10-17
Propel your dancing to the next level at this camp with Teacher Savannah! (Bio on Faculty/Staff Musical Arts of Dover webpage). In this ballet intensive we’ll work on strengthening ballet technique, pre-pointe/pointe classes, ballet variations, choreography, and a showcase on the last day. Example of daily schedule: Ballet technique 1.5 hr Pre Pointe/Pointe 1hr Break Stretch and strengthen class 30 min Rehearsal 30 min.
