On Thursday September 2, 2021 Music Together Newburyport is hosting 3 free research-based music classes for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and the grownups who love them can come together to play together musically.
Music Together’s playful music classes for kids support every child, no matter their learning style or stage of development. Each class includes lots of music activities especially created for young children, led by a trained teacher Mariana Rigel, who inspires everyone to join in the fun.

Babies Music Class (infants under 9 months)
Maybe you’ve noticed that your baby responds when you play a song in the car or sing to soothe him. Babies are naturally musical—and you don’t have to be a great singer or dancer yourself to nurture their love of music. In this music class for babies, your Music Together teacher will show you how you can support your baby’s music development through simple and fun activities. You’ll learn lots of musical ways to connect with your little one through music, and you’ll bond with the other new parents in your class, too.
Mixed-Age Music Class (ages birth – 5yo)
Each week in Music Together® Mixed-Age Classes at Music Together 
Newburyport, babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and the grownups who love them gather for 45 minutes of fun-filled family music time. Your teacher will lead you and the other families in music activities ranging from lullabies to full-on jam sessions (with child-friendly instruments, of course). It’s so much fun you won’t realize how much learning is taking place!
Canta y Baila Conmigo Music & Movement Class (ages birth – 5yo)
Canta y Baila Conmigo® is a unique program where young children and their adults experience another culture and language firsthand while exploring and developing musically in an age-appropriate manner.
Rhythm Kids (ages 4-8)
Come drum, sing, move, and play to rhythms inspired by musical traditions around the world, from West African Gahu, to Japanese Taiko, to Brazilian Samba, just to name a few.
