Our sweet tooth has acquired a slight addiction (turned tradition) when it comes to ordering special birthday cakes. Sweetened Memories Bakery storefront is in downtown Durham, NH offering really yummy (and beautiful) cupcakes, cookies, whoopie pies, and more all prepared daily. Good luck choosing your treat! They also bake + create custom cakes for weddings, showers, and all the other “celebrate with cake” events in our lives! 
We love how easy it is to shop the bakery online for same-day/in-store pickup! Full confession we’ve been a little too last minute before so this saves us. Did we mention the two, local mom owners are too sweet and accommodating?! When we’re looking for a less custom cake (but still last minute and always available) we always go for one of the drips.
Check out the “Birthday Gift Boxes” which can also be shipped anywhere in the US! Available now are holiday DIY cookie + gingerbread kits to do with the kids and the hot cocoa bombs make for great teacher gifts!
