Home for the Holidays Information Booth- Central School Lawn
Need to stay informed of the happenings around town or to just get information on what is happening throughout the day, stop by the Home for the Holidays Info booth. Home for the Holidays is giving away the first 25 etched Drink Tumblers sure to be a keepsake, for the first 25 people to visit the Information Booth Day of Home for the Holidays!!! Limit one per family or individual. After that we will have some for purchase until supplies last.
8:00am-6:00pm: South Berwick Firefighter’s Association Annual Toy Drive- Central School Lawn
9:00am-2:00pm: Seacoast Printing will be Open
The store is stocked with Marshwood and Maine apparel for your Holiday shopping! The Parmley family will be giving away stickers, and raffling off Marshwood and Maine gifts! Seacoast Printing is located in the Punkintown Building across from Marshwood High School.
9:00am-4:00pm: Sobo Arts Holiday Art Show & Sale- Central School Gym
9:00am-5:30pm: Aggie’s Ice Cream- Central School Lobby Area
Featuring Aggie’s famous hot fudge sundaes, Aggie’s hoodies, t-shirts and gift cards for sale!
9:00am-5:00pm: Underground Minerals & More- 261 Main Street
The store will be open during Home for the Holidays, offering white wooden snowflake ornaments to color & a free tumble stone for kids.
9:00am-5:30pm: Marshwood Little Hawks Wrestling – Central School Lawn
Get your grub on at the Marshwood Little Hawks Wrestling Table. Sink your teeth into juicy, grilled hamburgers and hot dogs bursting with flavor. Or, for a taste of home, give our homemade steak tip chili a go. Feeling extra lucky? Take a chance and enter to win prizes worth anywhere from $100 to $265! Best of all, every penny supports our budding young wrestlers from pre-k up to 6th grade. So, whether you Venmo or deal in cash, come and chow down for a good cause!
9:00am-6:00pm: South Berwick Memorial VFW Post 5744- Central School Lawn
Stop by throughout the day to enjoy steamed hot dogs, sausage, chili bowl, hot pretzels. Hot cider, coffee, and hot chocolate. We also have prepacked popcorn and jerky.
12:00-4:00pm: Great Works Chiropractic- Central School Lawn
Come by with the kids for face painting and drop off goods for their food drive at their table.
11:00am-2:00pm: Secundo- 279 Main Street
Secundo will be hosting Mercato Secundo, a maker’s market featuring work from local artists and crafters. The bar will be open with a special snack and cocktail menu during the market and guests are welcome to enjoy snacks and drinks while they shop. 4:00pm-9:00pm- The restaurant and bar will re-open from 4-9 for dinner service featuring delicious Italian food with locally sourced ingredients.
12:00-3:00pm: Historic New England-Sarah Orne Jewett House- 5 Portland Street
The halls of the Sarah Orne Jewett House will be decked with gorgeous Victorian decorations for free first-floor tours
12:00-4:00pm: UMaine Cooperative Extension 4-H- Central School Lawn
Join in on a hands-on STEM activity about snowflakes and winter. Kids are invited to sort through snowflakes and plot favorite winter activities on a chart. Let’s see what South Berwick likes to do during the winter! Take along a snowflake cutting or coloring activity.
12:00-4:00pm: DJ Jodi- Central School Lawn
DJ Jodi will be spinning holiday tunes all afternoon.
12:00-4:00pm (or as supplies last): Girl Scout Troop 653- Cotton Candy in Festive Flavors- Central School Lawn
Join Girl Scout Troop 653 for Candy Cane and Gingerbread flavored cotton candy as soft and fluffy as the North Pole snow! Fruity flavors in red and green available, too! Your purchase will support Girl Scout adventures and community service.
12:00pm-6pm: Clubhouse Kids- Central School Lawn/Lobby
Popcorn- 12-4pm (location: inside Central School doors) Pick up a bag of freshly popped popcorn to snack on as you shop and stroll our downtown.
S’mores- 3-6pm (location: Central School Front Lawn) Grab a roasting stick and toast marshmallows and build a yummy s’more to snack on! Look for the Grinch handing out special holiday glow stick candy cane necklaces. We can’t wait to see you!
The Grinch Candy Cane Hunt- 3-6pm (various locations around town) The Grinch discovered that Santa’s elves have hidden candy canes around town. He’s planning to find them all and turn them green! Head out and find them after picking up a Grinch Card at the information booth. Once all found, return it to the S’more Station to claim a treat and a picture with the Grinch himself!
12:00-6:00pm: South Berwick House of Pizza- 253 Main Street

South Berwick’s classic burger joint is featuring small sample size Peppermint Shakes for kids; they can add on whipped cream, sprinkles, etc.! Full-size Peppermint Shakes for sale (at the regular price).
12:00pm-6:00pm South Berwick Girl Scout Troop 795 Central School
Will be selling fresh Fried Dough outfront of Central School. Please stop by and help them “raise some dough” for their trip to Montreal in 2025. Fried Dough will sell for $6 each and cash/venmo will be accepted. Water will be for sale as well. The perfect treat for adults and kids alike as we celebrate Home for the Holidays!
12:00-6:00pm: Nature’s Way Market- 271 Main Street
South Berwick’s neighborhood grocer is providing free hot chocolate to the kids (while supplies last) and a beer/wine tasting for friends 21+ in the mid-afternoon.
12:00-3:00pm: Stage House Inn & Dufour- 224 Main Street
Come on by to get your hot cocoa to-go, or sit and warm up with friends. Will be open at 1pm for hot cocoa (regular & spicy) & hot cider & cookies plus adult beverages, and light appetizers!
1:00-4:30pm: Historic New England-Sarah Orne Jewett Visitors Center- 5 Portland Street
Holiday story-time with Linda Becker (Owl Moon by Jane Yolen) at 12:30pm 1:15pm, 2:00pm.
Stop by to create a Victorian paper ornament and sip on mulled cider.
2:00-5:00pm: Happy Valley Beer and Wine Garden- 406 Main Street
Come watch the parade from Happy Valley and join us us for a holiday celebration with drink specials all day. Live music from 2:00-5:00 featuring Bill Gearin.
2:30-3:00pm: Kids Dance with DJ Jodi- Central School Lawn
3:00pm: South Berwick-Rollinsford Annual Parade (starts on Foundry St. in Rollinsford, ends in South Berwick)
3:00-6:00pm: Affinity Salon & Spa- 4 Portland Street (on the corner of Portland St and Paul Street)

Come see Maine Celebrity Julia Gagnon from American Idol perform! A performance you won’t want to miss!
5:30pm- Tree Lighting- Town Hall / Village Green Lawn
Right after Julia Gagnon’s performance at 5:30pm, we will have a Re-dedication ceremony of the town holiday tree, and lighting ceremony to kick off the holiday season!
