On the grounds of Strawbery Banke, 14 Hancock St, Portsmouth
Piscataqua Riverfest is Portsmouth’s annual celebration of the rivers and bays featuring a traditional boat show, food, music, historical demonstrations, hands-on activities and great local vendors. This FREE Gundalow Company event has something for all ages!
What’s at Piscataqua Riverfest?
- A collection of stunning wooden boats from wherries, dories, skiffs, sailboats, peapods, and row boats
- Free entry into the Strawbery Banke Museum all day!
- Maritime demonstrations including a oar making, science experiments, and more!
- Local non-profit partners with hands-on fun for all ages, local business vendors, nautical photography, crafts, games, books…
- Food and Drink for purchase from: Whoa Nellie Food Truck, Fox Point Oysters, Loco Coco’s Tacos, & Kona Ice
- A beer garden served by Maeve’s Mobile Cocktail Hour with local brews.
- Dockside tours of the Gundalow Piscataqua from Prescott Park
- Dockside demonstration of historical diving gear from 11-2pm at the Gundalow dock
