Due to the high probability of persistent rain and thunderstorms we have cancelled the original Backyard Bash Event that was scheduled for Friday, August 4th, 2023.

NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS!

We have quickly regrouped and we are committed to run a revised version of the event to be held this Monday Night, August 7th from 6pm – 9pm… which will now be called the…

THE BACKYARD BUNT!!!

Here’s the Pitch – We aimed for a Bash, the weather threw us a Curve Ball, so we’re laying down a Bunt! We will not be Defeated!

STILL ON FOR THE BACKYARD BUNT!

– STILL ON: Beer Garden: Deciduous Brewing Co. & the Millspace to offer other beverages.
– STILL ON: Live Band “The Boston Accents” will playing inside the Beer Garden!

– STILL ON: Enormous Musical Chair Fundraiser!

– STILL ON: We will still have Food Trucks the list will be updated shortly.

– STIIL ON: Touch-A-Truck with Newmarket Police, Fire, and a couple of Cool Show Cars! • – STILL ON: The Rec’s huge Water Balloon Toss Contest

– STILL ON: Aqua Land Splash pad and HUGE Playground open until dusk!
– STILL ON: Corn Hole Tourney hosted by the Rec and sponsored by the NBA (20 teams)
– STILL ON: Family Fun Backyard Themed Games all over the fields hosted by the Rec!

– STILL ON: Carnival Corner Games sponsored by many local organizations!

– TBA: Local Talent on the Stage during the night.

– CANCELLED: The Fireworks Show due to their availability that night

And of course…
– STILL ON: A Midway of Vendor Tents hosting fun activities, giving out swag, and selling merchandise, hosted by local organizations, businesses in the area.

Bring Extra Cash: Please understand this entire event is a fundraiser for many of our non-profit organizations that are participating Therefore, along with our many FREE participation activities that will be available, you may need to pay a small fee to play for some of the bigger attractions and contests. There will also be 50/50 Raffles and other ways to WIN lots of great prizes! So we do recommend that you bring extra cash.
