The Town of Kittery is pleased to share that the Kittery Police Department will host National Night Out 2026 on Tuesday, August 4, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Kittery Community Center, 120 Rogers Road.

National Night Out is a free, family-friendly event that brings together the community and local public safety agencies for an evening of fun, education, and community connection. Meet members of the Kittery Police Department, Kittery Fire Department, Harbormaster, Public Works, and other local and regional public safety organizations while learning more about the important work they do to keep our community safe.

Event Highlights

• Free hot dogs, chips, freeze pops, water, and fried dough
• Hawaiian Jim’s Shaved Ice (free for the first 100 guests)
• Bounce house
• Face painting
• Temporary tattoos
• Bubble station
• STEM activities
• Lawn games
• Caricature artist
• Public safety vehicles and equipment on display
• Live performance by “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

This event is free and open to all ages. Whether you’re meeting your local first responders, exploring emergency vehicles, or simply enjoying an evening with friends and neighbors, National Night Out is a great opportunity to strengthen community relationships and celebrate the people who help keep Kittery safe.
