This October, the historic grounds of The James House will come alive with the spine-tingling excitement of Legends of the Haunted Woods, a two-weekend event featuring various levels of scares for all ages. Event Dates and Details:

• Friday, October 10th and 17th (6:30 PM – 9:00 PM) $15 per person / Saturday, October 11th and 18th (6:30 PM – 9:00 PM)$15 per person: The weekend kicks off with a spooky yet fun-filled walk through the woods, where eerie lights and creepy fun await. As night falls, the woods transform into a full-scare experience. With live actors, jump scares, and an atmosphere thick with suspense, this walk is for the bravest of souls. Enter if you dare!
• Saturday, October 11th and 18th (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM) $8 per person 6 and older: Families and young children are invited to enjoy a kid-friendly daytime event. This less scary walk features delightful treats around every corner, offering a light-hearted way to enjoy the Halloween season without the frights. Bring your trick or treat bag and feel free to come in costume!

Proceeds for a Purpose: All proceeds from Legends of the Haunted Woods will benefit The James House, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving one of Hampton’s most historic properties. The funds raised will support the organization’s mission to expand educational programs and secure the reconstruction of the house, ensuring its preservation for future generations.
