Free family fun at the Somersworth International Children’s Festival 6/14 & 6/15!
Celebrate summer at the 2019 Somersworth International Children’s Festival–a free day of family fun!
Friday, June 14; 6:00pm to dusk (at the Somersworth High School)
A pre-festival celebration will be held at the Festival Pavilion (located at one end of the Somersworth High School Football field). This ever popular event begins at 6:00pm with live entertainment for both the young and the young at heart. The highlight of the evening comes just after sunset when the show is capped off with a spectacular fireworks display. Other activities throughout the evening will be available for the younger children along with a variety of tasty foods provided by local organizations and vendors.
Festival Day, Saturday, June 15; 10:00am-4:00pm
- Memorial Drive will be loaded with children’s activities, product and service vendors exhibiting their special wares, food vendors, special displays and a variety of amusement activities plus the world cultures passport center area.
- Traditional foods like burgers, sausages, steak and cheese subs, French fries, hot dogs, pizza, Indonesian foods and fried dough will be for sale along lemonade, soda and water.
- Noble Pines Park features a petting zoo, bouncy house, a mist park and children’s play area, pony rides and a stage with kids entertainment. There will a free trolley by Coast bus running between the two sites.
This event will be held in Somersworth in two locations.
