Ghosts of Folsom Tavern: All-ages colonial tour guide in Exeter on Saturday 10/20!

Colonel & Mrs. Folsom invite you to join them in their historic tavern to celebrate the waning light and autumn season.  Meet their family, tour their historic tavern, hear how they once hosted George Washington and enjoy seasonal refreshments.

You will then make your way to Winter Street Cemetery to meet your colonial tour guide. Here you will see the Folsom’s final resting place and the graves of many of Exeter’s famous and infamous revolutionary residents, hear their stories and learn about this historic cemetery.

Event Information

Event Time: Folsom Tavern open 3-5:30pm

Tour times: 4pm, 4:30pm, 5pm, 5:30pm

Cost:

  • $10 for not-yet-members
  • $7 for not-yet-member children ages 6-18.
  • Members are $5.00 and member’s children ages 6-18 are $3.00.
  • ll children under the age of 6 are free.

Ticket prices include a visit to the museum day of the event (must visit museum’s Ladd-Gilman House before 3:30pm), activities and check in at Folsom Tavern, and cemetery tour.

Location: Guests meet at Folsom Tavern for check in, visit with the Folsoms, refreshments, and cemetery directions.  Guests drive or walk themselves to Winter Street Cemetery for tour start time. Tour is held rain or shine
