World Ocean Day! Week long celebrations with Seacoast Science Center!
World Ocean Day is an international celebration and collaboration for a healthier future for our Ocean. On June 8, 2021 people from across the globe will unite to raise awareness of the critical role the ocean plays for all life on Earth and the dire need to protect it.
This year, we are offering a week of virtual and in-person programs and events, video features, and live-streams to connect you to the wonders of the ocean, raise awareness of the challenges facing it today, and offer ways we can all help conserve this life-sustaining resource.
Join us for the scheduled events below and check our Facebook and Instagram feeds throughout the week as we celebrate ocean wavemakers, share creature features, and post ideas on how you can help save the ocean. Be sure to check out the full week long schedule and register here for events.
