The Wildlife Encounters Ecology & Wellness Center (otherwise simply known as “Wildlife Encounters”) has been known for 20 years for bringing the animals to you!
And we still do!
However, now we ALSO host birthday parties on site at our Ambassador Animal Sanctuary location in Rochester, and Ecology Center location in Barrington, NH.
YES!! No pre or post party clean up for you!
Again, if you can’t get here and would prefer to host at your location don’t worry, we’ll still travel to you!
Sanctuary Birthday Parties with the Animals
Sanctuary Birthday Parties and Private Events is a special opportunity to come and experience seeing these beautiful creatures in their home. Your animal lover, friends and family will be able to get face-to-face with over 50 native and exotic animals at Wildlife Encounter’s guided interactive birthday tour!
In the first hour or so, much fun will be had seeing and learning about these amazing ambassador animals. After the tour your guests can gather in the new 1000 square foot outdoor (partly covered & heated) area to continue the celebration with cake and presents. Saving the best for last! To conclude the best party ever, your guests will have the opportunity for a hands-on picture time with select ambassador animals.
SANTUARY BIRTHDAY PARTY PACKAGE INCLUDES:
- 2 hrs
- 45-60 minute guided sanctuary tour
- Meeting & learning about approximately 50 native and exotic mammals reptiles, birds, amphibians and invertebrates
- Lots of hands-on, petting & feeding opportunities!
- 30-40 Minutes for cake, presents, etc.
- 15-20 Minutes at the end for hands-on & picture time with select ambassador animals

NEED TO KNOW PARTY SPACE DETAILS:
- The tour and party space are fully supervised by Wildlife Encounters team members
- Limited on-site parking (public parking options a short walking distance away)
- Our space is best for gatherings of about 20 people or less including children & adults
- Please note this option is not ideal for children under 4 years old
- Party space is outside, partly sheltered with space heaters as seasonally necessary
- 2 Picnic tables, trash and recycling bins are provided
- Guest provides all decorations, food, drink, etc. and is responsible for leaving the space as they found it
- Handicapped accessible porta-potty is onsite and hand sanitizer is provided
Ecology Center & Farm Animal Party
ECOLOGY CENTER & FARM ANIMAL PARTY PACKAGE INCLUDES:
- 2.5 hours
- Guided 1 mile easy trail hike featuring ponds, fields, vernal pools and a stop at “Crazy Tree” for a memory picture!
- Feeding, petting and grooming the resident animals including: Katahdin Sheep, Pygmy Goats, Mini-pigs, “Bambi” the mini-donkey, “Oscar” the pony and “Luke the Turkey Tom!
- Use of picnic tables, party space and outdoor games for you and your guests!
- 30-40 Minutes for cake, presents, etc.
- OPTION to ADD a short “Wildlife Encounters Show” with some wildlife ambassadors!*
