Where are all the lights? We love living in New England during this festive time of year. The first fallen snow is covering the ground and we have lots of winter holidays to celebrate! There’s no better way than getting outdoors to enjoy the winter festivities and to admire lots and lots of bright and beautiful lights! Here’s a quick round-up of where to go to see all the glistening this time of year!
Walk Through Lights
Candlelight Stroll at Strawbery Banke
Strawbery Banke Museum’s furnished historic houses are adorned with handmade decorations created from greens and dried flowers from the Museum’s heirloom gardens. As visitors travel from house to historic house, the glow of hundreds of candle lanterns light the way and guests enjoy seasonal greetings from costumed role-players and performers who recreate the traditions of times past.

The Peach Project Presents The Third Annual Holiday Stroll
Join us for a decorated and festive stroll through the tree lined fields and wooded pathways at The Brentwood Recreation Center. Let us get you in the Holiday spirit! Food Trucks, Music, Bake Sale, Silent Auction, Raffle, Bonfire and much more. $5 Admission fee 100% of the proceeds go to the NH Food Bank Venmo: @Peach-Project to prepay or to donate! December 9 & 10, 2022. 5-9pm.
Winter Wonders at Sandy Hill Farm
Enjoy the beauty of winter and the holiday season! The path winds through 14 acres of beautiful, enchanted hardwood forest. It is just over a mile on gentle, rolling terrain. It will take about an hour to see everything. There are lots of areas to take pictures and create memories that will last a lifetime. November 23 – January 1, 2023.
LaBelle Lights
When visiting LaBelle Lights, you’ll experience a stunning show comprised of winter-themed lighting displays coordinated with music that will bring a smile to your face and joy to your heart. LaBelle Lights is to be enjoyed by all ages! November 16 – January 15, 2023.

Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens: Garden Aglow!
The magic begins as darkness falls. Thursday-Sunday through December 31, plus select dates.
Join us to experience the brilliance of New England’s most beautiful light display! This year, the seasonal celebration returns to its roots as a walking event with a new, reimagined design and nearly 750,000 LED lights woven through 14 acres of central gardens. Running November 19 – December 31, 2022.
ZooLights at Stone Zoo
ZooLights is set to once again dazzle visitors of all ages! Enter a winter wonderland of tree-lined paths lit by thousands of twinkling lights. Enjoy a one-way stroll through festively decorated Yukon Creek, home to black bears, bald eagle, Canada lynx, reindeer and arctic foxes. This year, several illuminated large-scale lantern displays will add even more light to your winter nights. Running December 18 – January 8, 2023.
Holiday Lights Spectacular at Roger Williams Park Zoo
Experience Holiday Lights Spectacular as an all-new walk-through event featuring festive, larger-than-life dazzling displays with 3 million illuminated lights! It’s a must-see event that should be on everyone’s holiday to-do list. Holiday Lights, will run on select dates from November 25 to January 1, 2023.
Edaville Christmas Wonderland
We invite you to join us for our 75th anniversary with the much beloved Christmas Festival of Lights. This year we feature the millions of lights you are used to and some new attractions. We now offer general admission to make the park more accessible to all and more affordable for families. You’ll be able to ride behind a steam-powered locomotive, have fun on amusement rides, and enjoy food and drink throughout the park. We offer some of the old favorites plus all new shops, including a Christmas Market, with many local vendors and businesses.
