Time to purge that old Car Seat! Target’s Trade-In Event is Sept. 21-October 4th.

Target’s Trade-In event in back! From September 21 – October 4, 2025, guests will have the opportunity to recycle an old, expired or damaged car seat and redeem coupon on their wallet in the Target app or Target.com/circle for 20% off one car seat, stroller or select baby gear. The coupon can be redeemed through October 18, 2025.

Head to Target to trade in old car seats and receive a 20% Target Circle™ Bonus to use toward a new car seat, car seat base, travel system, stroller, or select baby home gear — which includes playards, high chairs, swings, rockers, bouncers, walkers, entertainers, and jumpers!

Target will accept and recycle all types of car seats, including: infant car seats, convertible car seats, car seat bases, harness or booster car seats, as well as car seats that are expired or damaged.

Here’s how it works:

1. Drop
your old car seat in the designated box at your nearby Target store.

2. Scan
the barcode on the circle bonus sign, then tap “Add to Target Circle Bonus.” Need help? Ask a Team Member in Guest Services.

3. Find
your bonus in your Wallet in the Target app. Use it twice before it expires on 10/18.

4. Save
on your next qualifying purchase by applying your bonus.
