Spring Clean out that old Car Seat! Target’s April Trade-In event is the 4/14–4/27.

Target’s Spring Trade-In event is here again! Customers can trade in old car seats in exchange for a 20% off Target coupon, which can be put towards a new car seat, car seat base, travel system, stroller or select baby home gear [like] play-yards, high chairs, swings, rockers and bouncers.

From April 14-27, guests will have the opportunity to recycle an old, expired or damaged car seat and redeem a coupon on their Target app or Target.com/circle for 20% off one car seat, stroller or select baby gear. Materials from the old car seats will be recycled by Target’s partner, Waste Management.

All types of car seats will be accepted for trade in, including ones that are expired or damaged.

Here’s what you do:

Drop off
Bring an old car seat or base to a nearby Target and drop it in the designated box inside the store.

Scan
Scan the QR code on the box, then tap “Add to Target Circle Bonus.”

Talk to a Team Member in Guest Services if you need help.

Find
Your bonus will be in your Wallet in the Target app.

The bonus will stay in your Wallet until you use it twice or it expires on 5/11.

Save
Your bonus can be applied to your next qualifying purchase & can be redeemed twice.

Stack the bonus with other offers for more savings.

The Target Car Seat trade-in for 2024 starts Sunday, April 14 and ends Saturday, April 27.
