“The Deep End” Drive-thru pool party on 11/12! New Diary of a Wimpy Kid with author Jeff Kinney & Water St. Bookstore!

Have you heard? The release of the newest Wimpy Kid #15 is happening at a spectacular drive-through pool party near you! More excitingly the beloved author Jeff Kinney will be there so dive in and come celebrate!

THE DEEP END Pool Party tour is coming to Exeter, NH! Water Street Bookstore is thrilled to have been chosen to host Jeff Kinney on Thursday, November 12th at 5 PM. We’re so grateful to Jeff, Abrams Kids, and to our wonderful community partner, Lincoln Street School, for serving as the venue for this one-of-a-kind, super fun, socially-distanced event!

Families will drive through pool party–themed interactive vignettes and enjoy a special moment when Jeff Kinney personally delivers their signed copies of THE DEEP END using a six-foot pool skimmer!

CONTEST: Wimpify your Car!  
Grab the whole family and Wimpify your car so it’s ready to roll through the Drive-Thru Pool Party! Decorations and signs are highly encouraged. The family with the best-decorated car will win a boxed set of Diary of a Wimpy Kid books!

Photo Ops! 
Jeff is happy to take socially distanced photos with fans! A staffer will take photos of each family with Jeff. During the photo, families must remain inside their car and Jeff will remain outside. The photos will be available on Eventer after the event. Details on how to download the photos will be provided on a bookmark to each customer at check-in.

Health & Safety Guidelines 
If you purchased a ticket and aren’t feeling well, please stay home. We’ll send your signed book(s) to you! All attendees over two years of age must wear a mask when their car windows are open, and all attendees must stay in their cars at all times during the event. No exceptions. No restrooms will be available.

Pre-purchased tickets are required ahead of time through this link. No tickets will be sold in-store, or via Water Street Bookstore’s website. ONE ticket admits ONE car and includes ONE signed copy of THE DEEP END.
