Teddy Bear Clinic at The Children’s Museum of NH – July 22nd at 9am!

Children’s Museum of NH young visitors are invited to bring their favorite stuffed friend to our annual Teddy Bear Clinic for a wellness check-up!

Each animal will be checked in to our “clinic” with an ID bracelet, and each child will bring their animal in to be examined by a volunteer healthcare professional. Animals will be weighed and measured, and children will answer questions about their animal’s health habits. Is bunny brushing her teeth? Does doggie get exercise every day? Does teddy ever get tummy aches? Is kittycat up to date on her shots?

The next stop is the surgical table. Most animals that visit our clinic are in need of a band-aid, stitches, stickers or even bows in their hair. Our surgical team can handle all these requests! Please note, we are not equipped to do major surgeries!

Before leaving the clinic, each animal will receive a certificate of good health to take home, along with a prescription for healthy eating and activities.

This event is designed to ease the fears of children before they go off to their own check up. On your way out of the museum, grab a water and a package of Teddy bear crackers to go!

All Teddy Bear Clinic activities are included in regular paid admission to the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire and FREE for members! Don’t forget to reserve your date/time online!
