Homeschool Programs September 2022 – May 2023

Historical Roleplaying 101
Discover what it takes to be a Strawbery Banke roleplayer. In this homeschool program, each family is assigned a family in the Puddle Dock neighborhood after the American Revolution, and families work together to learn as much as they can about their historical characters and the time period.

Each class focuses on primary source research, crafts, and activities that teach about daily life and roleplaying activities to promote understanding of first-person interpretation. For the optional fifth class, families are invited to sign up for a time slot to dress in an authentic costume provided by the Museum and roleplay their characters for daily visitors. This program is suitable for ages 9+. Adults and younger siblings are welcome to participate, but at least one child must be 9 years old.
