Did you know that Strawbery Banke has an American Girls Book Club for kids ages 6 and up?
Join us for some virtual time travel as we get to know historical fiction characters from the American Girl doll series.
Each session will focus on a different book character whose time period is tied to one of the historic homes at Strawbery Banke Museum. The group will explore daily life as we learn to cook historical recipes, play games from long ago, investigate different periods of dress and make authentic crafts.
The club will meet once every two weeks online and participants will have access to a webpage filled with other activities to try at home to be shared with the group during class. Read, imagine, be creative and stay connected to other history-loving kids this winter!
