Want to get all authentic this holiday and cut your own tree down? Maybe you’ll start to make it a traditional memory maker. The seacoast area in MA, NH & ME has quite a few farms that offer that classic experience! See our directory listings below to find a farm near you. Unfortunately, due to the drought around here this year some farms are not able to open and others are very limited. A few are by appointment only as well so don’t delay and get out there early this season! Also, don’t forget to check their website for additional fun–many also have horse-drawn wagon rides, hot cocoa and other holiday happenings!

Cut down your own Christmas tree in the glory of the White Mountains!
Create special memories by bringing your family to the White Mountain National Forest to cut your own Christmas tree. You will need a permit to cut any Christmas tree in the National Forest. These can be purchased for $5 at any of the Forest offices beginning the Friday after Thanksgiving Day. Please call the specific Forest office to verify business hours. There are some rules.
