Seacoast Families are Invited to Acorn’s 50th Anniversary Celebration! Saturday, Oct 1st from 1-5pm.

Acorn School is hosting a FREE 50th celebratory event for our entire community, and we hope you can come. All past and present students, families, teachers, and seacoast families are all invited to celebrate Acorn’s 50th year together.

Come join us at Stratham Hill Park on Saturday, October 1st. The Acorn Anniversary Celebration will be filled with free family fun happening from 1:00 to 5:00pm. See below for the afternoon line-up we have planned for everyone to enjoy!

    Acorn’s founder, Ms. Becky and music teacher, Ms. Leigh are providing nostalgic Acorn sing-a-longs sprinkled throughout the event.

Be A Part of This Moment In Time

Bring a Rock with you
Bring a rock with you from home or a special place, and make a commemorative rock creation while at our 50th celebration. Your rock will later be placed at Acorn School around the many outdoor learning spaces, hidden in our 100 Aker Wood for children to find, used to hold children’s artwork down on windy days, and used in so many other special ways. It will always be there for you to find when you come and visit!

Bring a Printed Picture with you
Are you or your family Acorn alum? We’re making a visual “memory lane” at the 50th Celebration event! Bring a printed picture from your time at Acorn School and add it to the memory board while at the 50th event. These pictures will turned into a memory book and put into a time capsule with various items from Acorn’s 50th year. Please write the name(s) and date on the back of each picture.

Time: Stop by between 1 – 5pm, or stay for the whole time! Rain or shine.

Where: Stratham Hill Park, Front Pavilion the main parking lot.

Cost: FREE to attend. Food will be available for purchase by local food trucks
