Are you and your children really hoping to see Santa somewhere around the seacoast this year? We’ve got you covered on where and when to go to catch him and all his jolly! Between farms, local restaurants, storefronts, and good old fashion malls there are so many choices of places to go. Go ahead get to one of these and check this holiday tradition off your list. Some are free, some are paid events, you’ll find him hanging out in outdoors and outdoors. There’s even some from afar for those little ones not so sure about the big jolly man. Choose what’s right for you and your family and have fun! Merry Christmas!

Enjoy a special ticketed holiday event at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire! Meet Santa for a photo opportunity outside on the Museum’s Play Patio and receive a special gift. Engage in hands-on holiday craft activities and a magical science experiment all while exploring the museum’s many interactive exhibits. Get the family ready to step right into this Hallmark movie scene designed as the perfect space to really have a visit with Santa this year! It feels truly magical and this just may become your new favorite holiday tradition. Santa will be visiting at his cottage every Wednesday (and Tuesday 12/20) in December. Visit with Santa – Churchill’s Garden Center (FREE)

Bring the family and enjoy an afternoon visiting with Santa. Be sure to bring your camera to capture the festive moment and your letters to to put in the box to send back to the Elves in the North Pole! Check out their event for more covid precaution details.

Christmas with Santa on Legacy Farm (ticket event)
217 Portsmouth Ave, Stratham, NH
Join us for some holiday fun and visit with Santa at Legacy Lane Farm! Kids can create their Wish List in Santa’s workshop, then visit Santa’s cottage to tell him what they want for Christmas and put their list in Santa’s mailbox! While on the farm, enjoy a cup of hot cocoa by the fire, stroll through Candy Cane Lane, Lollipop Land and more! At the North Pole, you’ll see Dasher and Dancer and Sylvia and Scarlett, Donner and Cupid and Nugget and Vincent! But the most famous “reindeer” of all…. is Billy the Red Nosed “Reindeer”! S’more kits available for purchase by the fire.

Brown Square in Newburyport (FREE)
Green and Pleasant Streets in Newburyport, MA
Bring the family to Newburyport’s Brown Square to see Santa in his traditional workshop, share your wish list, and snap a photo with Mr. Claus from outside the workshop!
Dates: Fridays: 12/2, 12/9, 12/16 – from 5pm-7pm
Saturdays: 12/3, 12/10, 12/17 – from 11am-2pm
Sundays: 12/4, 12/11, 12/18- from 11am-2pm

Santa’s Castle in Dover (ticket event)
15th annual Santa’s Castle at the McConnell Center in downtown Dover. Each night children and their families will be able to tour several rooms in Santa’s Castle and meet Santa and many of his elves. $25 per group.
Dates: Friday December 16th from 4:30 – 7:30 pm and Saturday December 17th between the hours of 2 – 6:30 pm. The Castle will conclude on Friday, December 23rd from 4:30-7:30 pm.

Christmas Dove in Barrington (FREE)

Santa and Mrs. Claus return to the Christmas Dove on Sundays. Pictures are free, bring your own camera. But if the experience is appreciated please drop a donation in the Barrington Food Pantry Jar!

Santa at The Beachmere Inn – Marginal Way (FREE)
Looks who is coming to the Inn on Dec 10th for Christmas By the sea weekend. Bring your camera and get a photo with Santa by the Lobster Trap Tree. Hot Chocolate and more will help keep you and Santa toasty. We welcome our guests and local visitors and residents to this experience along the Marginal Way in Ogunquit

Visit with Rochester’s Main Street Santa (FREE)
Come visit Rochester Main Street’s Santa at the Library! Santa will be outside on the lawn from 10:30am-12 noon on Saturday, December 10th! (The event will move inside if necessary.) Santa will be available for a visit and photo-op with children. Don’t forget to bring your camera! Children can make a quick craft while they wait.

Santa will be stopping by Envoy Mortgage in Dover
Come meet Santa, snap a photo with him (don’t forget your camera), and enjoy some holiday treats. This is a FREE event but advance registration is required to ensure Santa has adequate time with each family. Sign up here!

Visit with Santa for a photo-op before Christmas! Free holiday kids crafts and face-painting as well as live holiday music with local musician Mark Lapointe.

Families who visit Santa receive a free 4×6 studio-quality photo, as well as a free shareable video when you provide your email address. Additional photo packages are also available for purchase and print instantly at the store. During your visit, families can mail their letter to Santa and bring home free holiday craft activity kits while supplies last. Families can also enjoy the amazing aquariums and wildlife displays found in every Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s store (closest Cabela’s is in Scarborough, Maine.)
