Revolutionary Story Time at the American Independence Museum on Thursday, October 3!

Fire up your imagination! The first Thursday of every month April-December from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, preschoolers (ages 3+) their siblings, and caregivers are invited to join us in Folsom Tavern at the American Independence Museum to read books relating to the Revolution, Colonial history and more.

Sponsored by Exeter Hospital, re-enactor and musician Mike Welch will share books, stories, and music. Afterwards, parent-supervised playtime for children includes imaginary play, colonial games and period dress-up!

2019 Upcoming Story Times:

First Thursday of the month
2:00 to 2:30pm: Storytime
2:30-4:00pm: Playtime

Parking is available in the museum parking lot on Spring Street, in Exeter Municipal lots, or on Water Street. Please note that due to the historical nature of the Tavern strollers are not encouraged and the building in not handicapped accessible.
