This summer, PMAC will be home to a large tent (40’ x 60’) in our parking lot for four weeks in July and early August. Summer art camp kids will be able to safely paint, draw, sculpt and more with PMAC’s professional teaching artists, socially distanced under this amazing PMAC Tent! Don’t miss out on this fun, safe, outdoor experience!
Get creative, connect with friends, and practice your art making skills. Campers will work with multiple forms for media and host an art show under the PMAC Tent at the end of the week. 2021 Tuition Aid & Discounts
At PMAC we understand that for many people in our community, where housing and the overall cost of living is above the national average, finding room in the budget for studying art and music can be challenging. Our tuition aid program was created to help offset the cost for our programs. As the only non-profit community arts school in Portsmouth, we are proud to have continued this part of our mission since our start in 2003.
Through generous support from our donors, our awards subsidize anywhere from 25 – 90% of an aid-recipient’s tuition, depending on the need. In recent years, the total amount of tuition aid awarded has averaged $45,000 each year. The Financial Aid Committee considers family financial obligations, along with such additional factors as temporary unemployment, emergencies, illnesses, and total music and art educational expenses.
Applications Due for New Summer Session Students on JUNE 1, 2021. Apply here!
We offer a 10% Multiple Program Discount to students who enroll in more than one program per semester. We also offer a 10% Family Discount off tuition for the second student in a family who enrolls in a semester. All discounts will be applied at the time of registration.
