Daytime New Year’s Eve Celebration at CMNH! It’s a Family Favorite happening on Saturday, Dec 31st 2022!

Join us at the Children’s Museum of NH in Dover for our family friendly New Year’s Eve Celebration and ring in the New Year before bedtime!

CMNH’s annual daytime New Year’s Eve Celebration is a long-time family favorite. Parents, children and extended families can ring in 2023 together while the sun is shining. We stage two “countdowns to midnight” at 10:30am during the morning play session (9am-Noon), and at 2:00pm during the afternoon play session (12:30-3:30pm.)

These countdowns will make you feel like you’re in Times Square. Everyone receives a noisemaker and gets to create their own sparkly party hat. Enjoy a New Year’s photo booth as well! As “midnight” draws closer, guests gather in the center of the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire beneath a glittery disco ball hung 30 feet up. We count backwards from 20 as the ball begins its descent, then New Year wishes are launched from our Build-It-Fly-It towers when the clock strikes 12. Confetti will fly through the air, and wish blimps made by visitors will gently fall to the ground—it’s always a festive and really fun environment to be in and celebrate together.

Our New Year’s Eve Celebration is included in standard paid admission and free for Children’s Museum of New Hampshire members. Reservations and Pre-payment required. Visit www.childrens-museum.org for more info.

The Museum closes early at 3:30pm on NYE and will be closed on New Year’s Day.

Generously sponsored by the UNIQUE College Investing Plan and Kennebunk Savings Bank.
