Even though we’re unable to visit in person, this amazing New England museums are putting out great content to engage with families and kids while they are home from school.

Mystic Aquarium
For more virtual learning about marine life, Mystic Aquarium has everyday live videos at 11:00am. You can also check their Facebook feed for past videos on harbor seals, penguins and alligators.
New England Aquarium
All things marine on this Facebook page. In their feed, there are videos of feeding Octopus, crafts to create your own marine creatures at home, and other activities that are science based.
Providence Children’s Museum
Providence Children’s Museum has posted several Youtube Videos to guide you through STEM crafts at home. “DIY Rainsticks” and “Sink or Float” are two of the videos they have posted along with detailed instructions to follow along with at home. Check their Facebook page for updates.
Roger Williams Park Zoo
RWP is hosting Zoo School segments each Tuesday & Thursday at 2pm to learn more about their amazing animals. Each Zoo school segment has a fun activity to pair with the learning that happened in the video.
Science Museum in Boston
Webinars posted for parents to help support them with STEM activities to do with their children at home or for educators to help support remote learning related to STEM. Webinars include titles like “Engineering Fun at Home” and “Developing Pre-K Problem Solvers.” Check their Facebook page for updates.
Southwick’s Zoo
Zoo Earth Limited is posting daily videos at 1:00pm of animals from the zoo. We’ve already met their sloths! Check out their feed for archived videos and tune in this week for their live videos.
