Josie’s Family Jams provides live afternoon entertainment made special for families at Prescott Park this Summer!
Looking for a family-friendly way to enjoy live entertainment in Portsmouth this summer? Josie’s Family Jams returns to Prescott Park Arts Festival with a lineup of music, movement, and interactive performances designed especially for children and their families who love them.
Originally launched during Prescott Park Arts Festival’s 50th anniversary season in 2024, Josie’s Family Jams was created to provide engaging daytime entertainment that families with young children can enjoy together. Named in honor of Josie Prescott, one of the Prescott sisters who gifted the park to the City of Portsmouth, the series is now a summertime must-do among local & visiting families.
This summer’s series brings five exciting performances to the Wilcox Main Stage at Prescott Park, offering opportunities for families to sing, dance, laugh, and make memories together. All performances begin at 4:00 p.m. and feature a recommended donation of $5 per person, helping support Prescott Park Arts Festival’s mission of keeping the arts accessible to everyone.
