Were going to put this friendly reminder right at the top here for all you folks wishing to take in this special and traditional Candlelight Stroll event at Strawbery Banke. Most definitely do not wait to purchase tickets to this years event! Be sure to grab your tickets when they go on sale this Wednesday, November 3 at 10AM to ensure you get tickets for your preferred date.

Stroll through life in a simpler time as 350 years of American history, winter traditions, and holiday celebrations unfolds around you in New Hampshire’s oldest waterfront neighborhood. Every year since 1979, Candlelight Stroll at Strawbery Banke has captured seasonal and holiday traditions against the backdrop of the museum’s historic houses. For the second year, Strawbery Banke presents “Candlelight Stroll Under the Stars,” focusing on the lights, wreaths, roleplayers, and magic on the exteriors of the museum’s historic buildings.

The museum grounds glow with hundreds of lighted candle lanterns, and house doors and railings are adorned with handmade decorations crafted from live greens and dried flowers and herbs collected from the museum gardens. Visitors stroll along candlelit pathways and are greeted along the way by costumed roleplayers and performers who recreate the traditions of times past.

Be sure to catch Ice Dance International’s Vintage Skaters as they perform at various times in the evening at Labrie Family Skate at Puddle Dock Pond!

Special notes about this year’s event:

• Candlelight Stroll Under the Stars is all outdoors and the historic houses are not open to the public.
• Masks are required, regardless of vaccination status.
