Plan ahead for summer camp 2023 at Camp Seawood! Welcoming girls who have completed pre-K through grade 8 with one-week programs. Girls who have completed 4th grade and up can participate in two-week programs that include an overnight. Girls can be dropped off at 9:00 and picked up by 5:00 or ride the bus from a location close to them. Families can join in the fun at camp on Wednesday nights.
Camp Seawood specialty programs will enhance your camper’s summer experience. She can take an ecological journey to explore our coastal shorelines, discovering marine plants and animals. Develop her outdoor skills through matchless fire-building and campfire cook-offs. Rule the jungle gym and hone her ninja skills, conquering her very own ninja course! With plenty of space for campfires, games on the lawn, water games, nature trails, a low ropes course, slingshots and archery, and Girl Scout badge activities, there is never a dull moment as girls make new friends and explore outdoors.
Located near downtown Portsmouth, NH, Camp Seawood offers exciting camp experiences where girls take the lead, explore their interests in the outdoors, and make new friends. Campers enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, including exploring nature trails, testing their skills on our low-ropes course, games, or even discovering local wildlife.

One – Week Summer Camps (Pre K – 8th Grade)
Wacky Water
Pack your water shoes for water themed crafts, games and fun activities! Day camp is open from 9:00am-4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with a family campfire program on Wednesday night from 6-7pm. Girls can be dropped off and picked up at camp or choose to ride the camp bus. Girls are placed in units (Girl Scout patrols) by age level, and summer camp counselors lead them in activities each day.

Practice your target sport skills with slingshots, archery, and Airsoft rifles at day camp, and during your overnight at Camp Farnsworth, compete in a target sports tournament! All campers may ride the bus to and from day camp.

Earn up to 25 service hours leading programs at camp, while making time to enjoy the fun with new Girl Scout friends! You’ll have an overnight at Camp Farnsworth to meet other Camp Leadership Girl Scouts and participate in a multi-camp all-camp activity.

Troop Camping—Olympic Adventure
Sat, July 22, 8:00 a.m.-Sun, July 23, 11:00 a.m.
Bring your troop to Camp Seawood and stay overnight in an Adirondack or Roost Lodge! Cook your meals with your troop, and in between embark on an Olympic Adventure as you complete challenges in each program area.
$25 per person for Adirondack
$35 per person for Roost Lodge
Financial Assistance (Campership)
Campership is available for up to one-half the cost of one summer camp program for qualifying girls who are Girl Scout members and live within
our GSGWM council area. To apply for campership, register online for the program your camper would like to attend. If you are not a Girl Scout, you will need to purchase Girl Scout membership. At checkout, choose “financial assistance” as your payment method. You will then receive an email with a link to the campership application form. Please fill this out promptly for our review.
Camp Gear
2023 camp t-shirts, sweatshirts and flannel pajama pants are available for purchase! Trading Post locations include Camps Farnsworth, Kettleford, Seawood and Twin Hills. Trading Post Gift Cards and camp clothing is available for pre-order through May 15. Trading Post Gift Card balances may be
used in our NH and VT stores.
