2023 Summer Concerts

Our Concert Series from June 22-August 10, 2023 from 6 pm-8 pm on beautiful Swasey Parkway.
Sing, dance, and have fun with our weekly Summer Concert Series

Each year our series showcases high quality artists featuring a variety of genres of music. It’s one of Exeter’s best summer traditions. Our department has been doing this series for over 30 years now!

Location: Swasey Parkway 316 Water Street, Exeter.
Concert Times: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

June 22: Amorphous Band-(Blues) was “formed” in 1995 to create a community of musicians to produce an ever-changing core of material and present it in many musical formats. Each player brings a sound and a soul to the band and helps transform the music while a signature quality unites it all and brings form from chaos.

June 29: Reminisants-(Oldies) have been entertaining audiences of all ages throughout New England since 1973. The band specializes in oldies music from the 1950s through the ’90s, playing a collection of great music for all kinds of musical tastes and generations. ​

July 6: Windham Swing Band-(Big Band) Founded in 1998 the Windham Swing Band is a full 18-piece big band with saxophones, trombones, trumpets, bass, percussion and vocalist.

July 13: Marcy Drive Band-(Rock) is a 5-member classic Rock band with a great variety of music

July 15: Chad Verbeck-(Country) Chad has been playing music since a young age. He is a singer/songwriter from New Hampshire, by way of Colorado, who plays his music in venues across New England and the Nation. His sound has been developing through the years into a signature acoustic tone; he has been described as a smooth balladeer, a gritty folk-blues troubadour, and a country rocker.
** Fireworks start after the band Chad Verbeck performs. **

July 20: Wheel of Awesome-(Rock) It’s a star-studded extravaganza incorporating live music, improvisation and comedy in an unpredictable “no setlist” format where a spin of the ‘Wheel of Awesome’ dictates what the band does next.

July 27: Downtown Dave & Deep Pockets-(Blues/RB) A mix of powerful, infectiously grooved originals, and one-off covers, done in their own Pocket’s style. They love to see people having fun on and off the dance floor, contributing to their unique shows. The Pockets thrive on a solid rhythm section, passionate guitar, inspiring harmonica, and heart felt vocals.

August 3: High Range-(Country/Folk) is an energetic roots/folk/bluegrass group with a long list of rave reviews from national publications. They highlight original music with a mix of cover songs on guitar, upright bass, mandolin, fiddle, banjo and drums.

August 10: 4EverFab featuring brilliant lead vocals, precise three-part harmonies and outstanding musicianship, 4EverFab plays The Beatles…From the Cavern Club to Abbey road. Based in Massachusetts, but playing throughout the New England area, 4EverFab is simply the best Beatles tribute band you will hear.
