Story Time at the Rye Public Library

An event every week that begins at 10:30 AM on Thursday, repeating until May 26, 2022
Story Times will be held outside, weather permitting. Please dress warm and bring a blanket to sit on.
Registration not required.
Thursday, May 5th
Play Time-Story Time! The first Thursday of each month from May through August, come join us for open play. We’ll have books, blocks, bubbles and puppets! Feel free to bring a book or toy to share.
SATURDAY STORY TIME!
Saturday, May 7th
Stomp, stomp, stomp come the DINOSAURS! Let’s stomp back at least 70 million years and see some dinosaurs roaming the earth. We have lots of dinosaur books and songs to enjoy! You’ll get a paper-plate-dinosaur craft kit to bring home.
Thursday, May 12th
Do you hear music? Is that a trumpet? Maybe drums? Come celebrate music with us! We’ll read Dan Brown’s Wild Symphony followed by our very own music parade! Please bring a toy instrument to play if you have one. We’ll have others to share. You’ll get a fun maraca kit you can make and play at home!

Sign language story time! Did you know that you can say things with your hands? You can! We’ll read some fun books, learn a few words using sign language and sing a song using our voices and our hands. We’ll finish story time with a special snack.
