Dive into learning with hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics activities. Wednesday afternoons are S.T.E.A.M. powered at SSC, where children ages 6-12 and their favorite adults explore fun, hands-on activities that focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics, all with an emphasis on learning about our World Ocean. Self-guided S.T.E.A.M stations are located inside Seacoast Science Center, with an SSC naturalist at-the-ready to start you on your learning journey and answer your questions. Each day, approximately half-way through the program time, a naturalist will lead a program based around the day’s theme. The program may be held indoors or outdoors, so please come dressed for the weather. Perfect for homeschool children and kids interested in learning more about our Blue Planet.
