Cut down your own Christmas tree in the glory of the White Mountains!
Create special memories by bringing your family to the White Mountain National Forest to cut your own Christmas tree. You will need a permit to cut any Christmas tree in the National Forest. These can be purchased for $5 at any of the Forest offices beginning the Friday after Thanksgiving Day. Please call the specific Forest office to verify business hours. There are some rules.
