Learning through stories, rhymes and free play. This playgroup will build early literacy, numeracy and social-emotional skills in your preschool age child. Each PlaySchool class will start with Circle Time. In Circle Time, children will practice sitting together and listening. Stories, songs, rhymes, and fingerplays will engage children in learning numbers, days of the weeks, months of the year, weather and more. After Circle Time, children will enjoy 30 minutes of free play, an optional art activity and interacting with new friends, while caregivers can connect with each other. Each PlaySchool time will end with simple mindfulness activities to help families transition to the rest of their day. For ages 3-5 years with a caregiver. Young siblings welcome. PlaySchool is facilitated by community educator, librarian and postpartum doula, Melissa Robinson.

Cost: $56 / $28 for sibling for four-class package (must be used within 6 weeks) or $18 for single class.
