Tickets are selling fast for Pine Street Player’s Spring Musical production of NEWSIES, so much so that they’ve added an extra performance! The cast is comprised of extremely talented young artists from Exeter and the surrounding areas, and performances will be held at the gorgeous Goel Center for Theater and Dance at Phillips Exeter.

Based on the 1992 movie starring Christian Bale, NEWSIES follows the turn-of-the-century newsboys of Manhattan as they take on publishing magnate Joseph Pulitzer, igniting a scrappy fight for fair treatment. With a Tony-Award winning score by Alan Menken (The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors), NEWSIES is a story rooted in youth standing up for what they believe in the face of a system built to ignore them.
