Friday Field Trips for Homeschoolers: Forest Walk (Amesbury Town Forest)

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the current Massachusetts Travel Order, participants traveling to Massachusetts from states other than Vermont cannot attend a program without proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken no longer than 72 hours before your arrival in Massachusetts.
Forest Walk – Amesbury Town Forest

Suitable for children 7 – 14 years
Come explore some of our most amazing north shore wild places with Joppa Flats Education Coordinator Lisa Hutchings. “Miss Lisa” will lead families with hands-on activities, identification of wildlife, and a new way to look at nature: through the eyes of a naturalist. Sign up for one, some, or all!
Joppa Flats will provide all field gear and equipment. This is not a drop-off class; all children must be accompanied by at least one adult. Locations are subject to change.
Dec. 4: Forest Walk at Amesbury Town Forest, Amesbury
Dec. 11: Winter Wildlife Walk at Moseley Woods, Newburyort
Dec. 18: Raptor Search at Parker River National Wildlife Refuge, Newbury
Instructions and Directions:
Meet at Amesbury Town Forest, Kimball Road, Amesbury. Driving directions will be provided along with our Covid-19 safety protocol. All participants must wear a mask and complete a Covid-19 self-health assessment prior to the program. Dress for the weather and terrain.
