Step away from busy schedules and screens for a fun-filled pottery experience the whole family can enjoy. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a meaningful way to spend time together, Family Clay Day is all about creativity, connection, and making memories with the people you love.
During this 90-minute workshop, everyone will have the chance to explore the pottery wheel with guidance from our instructors. You’ll learn the basics of centering and shaping clay while cheering each other on, sharing laughs, and discovering the joy (and occasional wobble!) of making pottery together.
There’s no pressure to make the perfect pot—this experience is all about trying something new, getting your hands muddy, and enjoying the creative process side by side.
Create as many pieces as you’d like during class, then choose your favorites to keep. For $20 per piece, The Wheel House team will trim, glaze, and fire your selected pottery so it’s ready to enjoy at home in approximately 3–5 weeks.

Who Can Join?

Ages 10 and up: Parents are welcome to throw too, or simply cheer from the sidelines while older kids enjoy the experience.
