Join us for a unique outdoor production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Athens is a world of rules and hierarchy; the forest beyond is a realm of magic and transformation. In between stand Shakespeare’s unforgettable characters: noble lovers seeking freedom, hardworking artisans preparing a play, and mischievous fairies eager to meddle in mortal affairs. Created through an ensemble-driven process, this production emphasizes movement, play, and collective storytelling. By building the physical life of each community—from the rigid order of the court to the wild energy of the fairy kingdom—we uncover the humor, humanity, and wonder at the heart of this beloved comedy.

Admission costs have been made more accessible, with all proceeds benefiting Sawyer Park in Kensington and Theater in the Open’s mission to bring accessible, high-quality theater to the community. Refund and weather policy

Tickets are non-refundable. Please note that all events at Alnoba are rain or shine. If an event is cancelled due to extreme weather you will receive an email notification. If you do not get an email notifying you that the event is cancelled, that means the event is still going forward as scheduled.
