It’s time to mark your calendars! We’re excited to announce that this year’s National Night Out will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 1 from 4-7 p.m at Townhouse Common.

This community-building event aimed at promoting police-community partnerships is the perfect opportunity for law enforcement and other local agencies to join together with members of the community as we all work to ensure that Exeter remains a truly special place to live and work.

This year’s activities will include live music from the Two of Us, a Beatles tribute band, police cruisers and other vehicles for kids to check out, New Hampshire Fish and Game equipment, a dunk tank, face painting, games, food trucks, balloon animals, our police comfort dog, Maple, booths from community organizations, and much more. We will be joined by members from other local police departments as well.

National Night Out is a free public event with the exception of the food trucks.

Complimentary snow cones, bottled water and popcorn will be provided.

While the event has been held at Swasey Parkway in the past, due to a construction project underway at the parkway, it will be held at  Town House Common located at the corner of Front and Court streets.
