Contest Alert! Downtown Gingerbread House Scavenger Hunt with Portsmouth Historical Society!

Portsmouth Historical Society is celebrating this sweet season with the 30th Annual Gingerbread House Contest and Exhibition from November 20 through December 22. “Taking it to the streets” of Portsmouth allows for an additional alternative to keeping visitors safer in 2020. Come join the fun and enjoy the magic of the season throughout downtown! The displays are open to the public at Discover Portsmouth Welcome Center daily from 10am to 5pm.

Downtown Gingerbread House Scavenger Hunt:

Find all the Gingerbread Houses in Portsmouth store windows. Get your Scavenger Hunt form stamped by the shop. Then turn it in to Discover Portsmouth by 12/22 and be eligible for a $100 gift card to Cure or Roundabout Diner.

Here’s How to Enter:

Step One: Get a Stamp Sheet
Download & print or pick one up at the Discover Portsmouth Welcome Center or at participating retailers (while supplies last).

Step Two: Collect the Stamps
Stop by each of the locations listed and present your sheet for a stamp!

Step Three: Turn It in (by 12/22)
Fill out the contact information at the bottom of the page and return it to the Discover Portsmouth Welcome Center at 10 Middle Street or submit a photo or scan to info@PortsmouthHistory.org for a chance to win a $100 gift certificate to Cure or Roundabout Diner.
