This is the weekend of the duck! Get out this weekend and throw down with other duck racers at these two local events:
6th Annual Oyster River Quackfest
Join us for the 6th Annual Oyster River Quackfest on Saturday, April 28, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Durham Landing. This fun family day includes a wide array of children’s activities, a barbecue and great prizes! Ducks will be launched at 12:00 pm. This year’s Quackfest is benefiting Growing Places and Rotary of Durham Great Bay. Top Duck sponsors include Durham Marketplace, Dover Auto World and Adaptations Unlimited.

Lucky Duck Derby
The Lucky Duck Derby, hosted by Newburyport Youth Services, is a family and community event. Lucky Duck drawing takes place promptly at 3:30pm! Participants will “sponsor” ducks. Children will receive a “Duckie Certficate ” and be able to name their ducks. Up to 2,000 rubber duckies will be numbered and placed in the Bartlet Mall pond. The Big Duck will head out in a row boat and randomly pick the winning ducks! View the event flyer here!

1st Duck Plucked: $1,000
2nd Duck– 5th Duck will receive gift certificates, activities and family trips!
