Strawbery Banke reopens on July 1 with small group tours — reserve your tickets now!

Strawbery Banke is excited to announce their re-opening to the public on July 1! To ensure the safety of visitors, the museum will be offering a new way to experience the historical grounds and properties.

Emerging Renewed — An Interpretive Tour of the Historic Waterfront Neighborhood of Strawbery Banke
Daily, July 1 – October 31, 2020; 10:00am – 3:30 pm.
Tours beginning on the hour and half-hour with the last tour at 3:30 pm.

The re-imagined visitor experience at Strawbery Banke Museum allows visitors to experience four outdoor sites exploring the resiliency of the historic waterfront neighborhood throughout time. This daily, public program invites guests to experience their own recoveries from COVID-19 restrictions by recognizing the parallels between everyday life in the present and the past.

Small Group Tours
Participants in small group tours (10 individuals or fewer) meet costumed roleplayers across the museum grounds, discover architectural and landscape details, as well as discuss the history of the site from Indigenous use in the 1600s through Urban Renewal and historic preservation efforts in 1958 that created the museum.

Please note, the historic homes will remain closed to the public with guided tours focusing on the exteriors of houses and the historic landscapes and gardens. Guided tours are offered on the hour and half-hour, the last 90-min tour starts at 3:30 pm. Tour is recommended for ages 10+.

Purchasing Tickets
Advanced ticket purchase for guided tours is strongly encouraged as dates/times may sell out in advance. Each guided tour is limited to 10 participants. Each person needs a separate ticket (including children under 5, who are admitted free). A self-guided tour option is available at the door only.

Members Free; Non-member: Adult $15, Children (ages 5 – 17) $10. Under 5, free but ticket required.
