What Are You Doing Friday Night? How does strolling, shopping, saving, sipping and supping sound? Every Friday night from now through Columbus Day, 30 retailers in downtown Portsmouth will be participating in Shop Portsmouth Friday Nights. What does this mean? Well, stores (all within walking distance of each other and of Market Square) will be offering later hours (open until 8:00pm or later!), entertainment, refreshments, store discounts and shopping specials.
Portsmouth’s Visitor Information Kiosk in Market Square will be open every Friday this Summer until 8pm to answer questions, give directions, and share shopping tips! Downtown retailers will be flying red, white and black balloons from their storefronts to signal their participation.
