Did you know there is an actual drive-in theater in Saco, Maine? What a fun way to check out a new flick while still enjoying the warm(ish) summer evenings! Each Friday and Saturday night, the Saco Drive-In shows a double feature starting at 8:00pm. And, no worries about getting eaten by mosquitoes—you can tune into a designated radio station to receive the movie audio right inside your comfortable car with the windows up.

The first showing is typically a PG or PG13 movie appropriate for family audiences, and the second showing is something rated R. You can stay for one or both movies for the same price!

There is a small concession stand that sells movie food and also, naturally, on-site bathrooms (double features are loooong). If you are so inclined, feel free to bring lawn chairs and park yourselves outside the car for the au naturel experience.
