Enjoy an “Old-Fashioned Thanksgiving on the Farm” at the NH Farm Museum 11/17!
In 1863 Lincoln proclaimed the first national Thanksgiving Day in the midst of the Civil War. At the NH Farm Museum, they recreate the experience as people enact the roles of the family members and what Thanksgiving at that time would have been.
Head to the NH Farm on Saturday, November 17 to enjoy light refreshments and hands-on activities. Ride a horse-drawn sleigh or wagon depending on snow and come inside and sing while “Emily” plays the parlor piano for your Over The River And Through The Woods experience.
